Project Manager
Q2 is seeking a Project Manager for our BaaS group in Implementations. Reporting to an Implementations Delivery Manager and working closely with Implementation Engineers, the Project Manager is responsible for implementing Q2’s BaaS solutions, with a focus on integrating our debit card and debit card exception processing solutions, in order to align with the business requirements of our stakeholders. The Project Manager/Product Specialist manages the clients through the implementation of these solutions and acts as the primary contact with the client during the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with stakeholders to connect business requirements and expectations for each project implementation
- Design and execute project plans and documentation to deploy Q2 BaaS solutions projects on time and on budget
- Direct project resources to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Work closely with the stakeholders and team to problem solve issues that arise throughout the project
- Track status and provide updates in relation to overall implementation process
- Train and educate stakeholders on the product and configuration options
- Work with clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the implementation
- Thoroughly document and track production environment modifications
- Manage multiple projects while regularly receiving escalated cases from management and prioritize accordingly
- Regularly document and report product/application defects to Development team, and escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate resources
- Follow internal change control process to implement any required product modifications
- Contribute to a knowledge/FAQ database for supported software
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Typically requires 3 - 4 years of previous work experience in a similar role
- Preferred experience in debit card transactions and dispute processing including, but not limited to, Regulation E requirements, Visa rules, chargebacks, and representments
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Project Management Methodology exposure preferred (PMP or PMI)
- Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
- Experience building documentation and project plans using Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint
- Experience managing client expectations with a Client first attitude and commitment to satisfaction
- Ability to organize and execute multi-facet software deployments
- Capable of assessing project risks and mitigations
- Ability to convey technical concepts to business-oriented banking project teams and interact with technical internal resources
- Possess project leadership qualities
- Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent people and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions
- Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel 15% to client sites
- Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred
