Cart is seeking a Project Manager to drive flawless execution of complex projects and initiatives in our Ecommerce as a Service (ECaaS) environment. Your primary responsibilities are quality, on-budget, and on-schedule delivery of solutions. Areas of responsibility include project schedule variance, project financials, project success, project scope variance, project team utilization, and consistent high level of client satisfaction. We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, and pays attention to detail. The ideal person will be comfortable at an early stage start-up, be a team player, and flex to accomplish results as both a team leader and as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight on various projects of a complex nature. Responsible for planning, developing, and executing schedules to ensure timely completion of project deadlines and milestones. 
  • Mange day-to-day communications and expectations with all relevant internal and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure its success.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings via phone, video chat, and, when needed, in-person meetings; generate and present weekly status reports. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, third parties, and client stakeholders to ensure activities are planned and executed in a timely manner in accordance with project schedule. 
  • Creatively solve problems and brainstorm solutions while communicating difficult information in a timely and tactful manner. 
  • Control quality by reviewing deliverables prior to client presentation; enhance deliverables as needed; suggest process improvements when appropriate; and ensure final acceptance. 
  • Manage change requests for all scope, schedule, or budget changes. 
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed project plans. 
  • Coordinate task assignments, monitor progress, and ensure proper task completion. 
  • Identify resource needs and collaborate with Delivery Operations to ensure optimal project staffing. 
  • Ensure client’s business objectives and KPIs are captured, understood, and measurable. 

Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in a business-related field such as Business Administration, Management, or Information Systems. 
  • 3+ years experience in a project management role (including risk, issue, dependency, process, and milestone management) in the technology space, preferably SaaS.
  • Demonstrated leadership, relationship-building, teamwork, and collaboration skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects through to completion. 
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, people, clients, and other third-party relationships. 
  • Budget and financial management including profit/loss, billing, and earned value management. 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. 
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical people. 
  • Ability to identify innovative ways to implement projects within established timeframes. 
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation). 
  • Ability to coach, mentor, resolve conflict, and negotiate for positive outcomes. 

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working at a SaaS or professional services company such as an agency or consulting firm. 
  • Experience managing complex SaaS implementation and/or web development projects. 
  • Experience working in the ecommerce industry. 
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms. 
  • PMP certification. 
  • Experience with JIRA and/or ClickUp.

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
