AffiniPay is in search of hardworking and versatile Project Managers to join our team! Our Project Managers are highly visible leaders, building bridges across AffiniPay to ensure projects are effectively planned, developed, integrated and delivered with quality and on time delivery. Our Project Managers also coach/mentor teams, develop feedback mechanisms for project teams to continuously learn, grow and improve.
Reporting directly to our Director of Program Management, the Project Manager will cross collaborate within the entire technology organization. This is a group of bright, motivated engineers, development managers, product managers and project managers passionate about building the next generation of Payment products, and transforming the way professionals get paid.
Your day to day:
- Build and Manage GTM (go to market) project plan and schedule highlighting various phases (Alpha, Beta, GA, Migration)
- Work with the project team to set and manage priorities
- Coordinate across the teams to ensure everyone is aligned with the priorities and dependencies
- Build and maintain project readiness checklists by phase
- Stakeholder identification and role setting (RACI)
- Identify deliverables by functional group
- Facilitate important metric definition, document data requirements and Reporting needs
- Define Success criteria and monitor
- Document and track dependencies, risks, and issues
- Process definition and quality controls (checklists, signoffs, rollback plans)
- Build and manage Project artifact repository
What we are looking for:
- 6+ years of experience, as an Analyst, Development Manager or Developer, working with technical teams developing software applications.
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Leader, Program Manager preferably using Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent facilitation skills with ability to inspire change at higher levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of proficiency using Scrum practices.
Nice to haves:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree
- Experience with online/ecommerce, payment processing, and/or financial systems
- Experience as a Software Developer
- Scrum Master Certification
- PMP Certification
- CPP certification
- MBA
