We are looking for a Programme Manager to join our Partner Tribe, helping to deliver complex projects and programmes to our customers and partners globally by working across the entirety of the Babylon business. You’ll be interfacing with a multidisciplinary team, including Product, Engineering, Commercial and Clinical Operations, and coordinating the multiple workstreams that form the complete delivery of our services. A key aspect of this role is being the face of Babylon with senior external stakeholders throughout the duration of the engagement, ensuring the multifaceted Babylon and partner delivery elements are aligned for success.

We are at the cutting edge of healthcare, so project scope and delivery dates can naturally change at short notice, making dynamism and working to aggressive timelines central to your work ethos. While you are a leader with many years of delivery experience and oversight, this is definitely a role where you will need to take the reins on larger and more complex deliveries, whilst in parallel helping to mature our overall delivery capabilities and supporting junior members of the team where required.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

• Lead the delivery of significant, multi-country/region Babylon client projects or multi-phased programmes
• Define the project structure and roles/teams involved to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
• Produce and maintain clearly defined project artifacts like plans, schedules, risk registers, issue logs etc
• Manage competing priorities across multiple functions
• Chair external stakeholder meetings and steering committees related to delivery
• Manage and foster relationships with project sponsors/stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and are aligned to meet objectives
• Champion project delivery across Babylon and ensure junior members of the team are being supported, coached and mentored
• Develop and mature internal project processes and policies, ensuring developments are in line with strategic business objectives
• Be a line manager for several members of the Project Management team

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Must have previous experience working in healthcare
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience leading complex, large scale, global technology projects and programmes in a fast paced matrix environment
• Demonstrated ability to create structure in an ambiguous environment
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills - you feel comfortable presenting your work to senior stakeholders and other colleagues
• Great personal skills - you flourish when working as part of a team and you know how to collaborate effectively with various business functions
• Experience in managing senior stakeholders, both internally and externally

NICE TO HAVE

• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification
• Experience working in an agile organisation and familiarity with agile methodologies
• Experienced with JIRA and Confluence
