As a Senior Program Manager focused on our portfolio management lifecycle in our Research, Delivery & Operations Project Management Office, you’ll work with a passionate team responsible for managing a vast and diverse portfolio of projects.  You’ll lead our efforts to ensure we’re focusing on the right priorities at the right time to deliver the desired outcomes for our customers. 

 

The Job: You will leverage your portfolio, program and process management experience and savvy to evolve our portfolio management lifecycle process framework.  We are looking for a Program Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing prioritization, governance and change across a diverse portfolio of projects.  You will use your excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead passionate portfolio owners and stakeholders across our organization in aligning programs, projects and operations with strategic objectives to ensure we’re focusing on the right priorities at the right time to deliver the desired outcomes for our customers.  Whatever the challenge, you’ll always be looking for ways we can do things better.

 

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Lead collaboration and negotiation amongst Portfolio Owners and other key stakeholders to align projects, programs and operations to a prioritized portfolio supported by strategic objectives
  • Evolve our portfolio management lifecycle process framework leveraging agile continuous planning models, PMI principles and other industry standards and best practices
  • Establish evaluation criteria designed to ensure appropriate portfolio balance of projects across factors such as business strategy, risk, technical success, etc.
  • Champion a portfolio-minded culture by providing the change management leadership and support necessary to motivate others to engage in advancing our processes
  • Lead portfolio governance including decision management and alignment, change management, dependency management and end-to-end roadmap alignment
  • Develop and operationalize reporting to support portfolio governance and provide visibility to key stakeholders

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years portfolio management experience at an enterprise level required
  • A minimum of 5 years program/project management experience required
  • Practical experience with lean and agile methodologies is preferred
