You'll be an engaged Scrum Master for 2-4 development teams focused on any number of customer-inspired initiatives, from key infrastructure enhancements to new product offerings. Your teams will use cutting-edge technologies to deliver on our customer promise of fast, secure, and highly available WordPress digital experiences. Additionally, we operate as a team! By collaboratively working with our outstanding team of Agilists and our broader Agile Community of Practice, you’ll help us scale and improve our Agile practices across the organization, through training, transformation planning and mentoring.

The day to day.

  • Support and challenge your teams to deliver world-class software solutions by teaching them to use agile practices / methodologies.
  • Cultivate an environment of transparency, continuous improvement, and team empowerment so that your teams reach their full potential for productivity, engagement, and morale.
  • Facilitate Agile events, meetings, and activities associated with Agile frameworks being applied by the teams (Kanban, etc)
  • Track and analyze team performance data, and coach your teams to plan for and achieve incremental improvements.

Your skills and expertise.

  • 5+ years experience working in an Agile environment.
  • 3+ years experience in a Scrum Master role.
  • Experience working with distributed teams.
  • Experience working with Kanban
  • CSM, A-CSM, or CSP certification (Alternatively, PSM-I, PSM-II, or PSM-III certification).
  • CSPO or A-CSPO is a nice to have.
  • Support Cloud Infrastructure teams is a nice to have

  • (Self-Improvement) Ability to seek continual growth in your craft, learning new tools and techniques to advance your skills.
