Senior Strategic Programs and Business Operations Manager

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Programs and Business Operations Manager who will report directly to our Chief Availability Officer (CAO). This is a critical role with high visibility within Q2, as this individual will be responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives aimed at delivering an integrated and consistent customer experience, maximizing the value our customers derive from our solutions, improving their business outcomes. The ideal candidate will be well organized, has strong communication skills, with the proven ability to think ahead and catch problems before they arise. It is also essential that this individual can engage, balancing a mix of strategic, programmatic, and planning and work well across all cross-functional areas of Q2, including senior leadership.

If you were in this role today you would be:
Acting as a strategic advisor to the CAO and their senior management team.
Responsible for coordinating and driving the execution of CAO’s staff meetings.
Representing the CAO in meetings, by email, and phone calls with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage the cadence of the CAO priorities, with tight interlocks with cross functional leaders, Development, Finance, HR, Implementations, Sales and the extended Q2 stakeholders.
Identify accelerators and friction points and propose initiative or activities accordingly.
Supporting the CAO in meetings by documenting relevant data points and outcomes, assuming responsibility for completion of action items.
Acting as the liaison between CAO and other executives, clients, and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and ensuring involvement, escalation, or decision-making at the proper time.
Participating with the CAO and their senior management team in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making.
Ensuring timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the CAO. Collaborates with business owners on work plans, drives successful outcomes (not tasks). Sets clear deadlines, deliverables and metrics, can hold owners accountable.
Solving problems, looks for operational efficiencies, and how to turn chaos into systems. Ongoing maintenance of those systems and processes to streamline operations.
Escalate risks and issues in a timely matter, work towards resolution with continuous reporting on progress.

To be successful in this role, you are:

Experienced working directly with senior executive leadership teams
Organized and have a track record of directing multiple teams and departments

Able to balance a variety of tasks, lead and direct the work of others
Deeply analytical and can process information quickly to drive decisions in a timely manner

Self-starter with a high level of initiative
Experienced with merger and acquisition integration
Preferably PMP certified
Experienced with 10+ years in a similar role in a similar environment as Q2
Calm, diplomatic demeanor and a cooperative nature even in stressful situations
Comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful and can execute with context of intended outcomes
Patient, flexible and embodies a positive outlook
