We are seeking a passionate and motivated Technical Program Manager to join our Cloud Platform Engineering team. The position requires a rare blend of technical skills and industry agile experience to lead team execution, to identify and take advantage of improvement opportunities, and be a champion for the team with partners across the company.

You will need to draw on your interpersonal and leadership skills to build positive relationships with the customers, influence decisions and articulate vision, priority and roadmaps. You will partner with customers and product owners to understand and communicate the product requirements, documented as JIRA stories in the product backlog. You will also work closely with the engineering leads to ensure the solution implementation follows the technical vision, and uses our platform architecture. You will lead release processes while mentoring teams towards continuous improvement and increased delivery predictability.

Day-to-Day responsibilities include:

  • Scrum master for one or two agile teams and champion the adoption of agile best practices within the team
  • Lead change and capitalize on agile mentorship opportunities to help the team focus on continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with partners and engineering team to ensure roadmap and backlog are maintained and are properly phased to facilitate timely delivery of functionality
  • Remove roadblocks across the organization, knowing when to assert resolution and when to finesse the resolution
  • Monitor your team’s development velocity
  • Build, maintain alignment and keep focus on strategic elements and operational excellence
  • Be an evangelist and own communication on technical delivery, vision, strategy and roadmap
  • Serve as the program management ambassador for your team(s) in multi-functional programs

Who you are:

  • 5-7 years of Program/Project Management experience in a high-tech company, preferably
  • Broad experience driving agile software development, preferably including agile mentoring or training
  • High level of initiative, passion, and desire to help teams continuously improve
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to engineering and business partners
  • Strong analytical skills and the aptitude to quickly identify gaps and risks
  • Scrum master certification
  • BA/BS required preferably in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or related fields (applicable experience may be substituted)
