The Reservation Manager team at Expedia Group enable great vacations by providing trusted and frictionless ways for partners to run their business, drive booking conversion, manage 100% of platform bookings throughout the booking and stay lifecycle, which ultimately ensures travelers have a magical experience and return to the platform.

We are looking for a driven, energetic, intellectually curious, collaborative Senior Program Manager with technical chops to join our dynamic and energized team.

What you’ll do:

  • You will develop product phase-out planning in-line with the product roadmap; determine different phases and priorities.
  • You will take a whole systems approach to analyze issues and implement holistic solutions by ensuring that linkages between structure, people, process and technology are made.
  • You will lead proactive identification and mitigation of issues and risks. You use your experience to anticipate risks in advance of impacts and keep relevant stakeholders advised of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule
  • You will provide mentoring in agile principles and support for multiple workstreams.
  • You will anticipate and recognize bottlenecks in work processes between teams and make suggestions for ongoing improvement.
  • You will use written and verbal communication skills to deftly convey technical and business concepts to senior management and executive leadership.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related Technical field.
  • 7+ years’ experience running technology-related programs using agile development techniques. Strong program planning skills with the ability to structure large initiatives.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to see the “big picture” while also diving into details
  • Exhibits storytelling and persuasive influencing techniques that build trust with team and partners and establish long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes and challenges to recommend and develop solutions to meet outstanding business needs and achieve objectives.
