What you’ll do:

Lead cross-functional teams of Product, Design, Engineering, QA, Marketing, Commercial, Support, Customer Success, Sales, Legal, and others to deliver new technology from inception to launch
Lead through influence all functions to deliver the product on time, on scope, with quality, and in line with customer, business, and revenue expectations
Work with Product and SMEs to translate business requirements into Agile user stories, workflows, and user journeys with a focus on fast-to-market design and engineering execution without compromise on quality or usability
Create sufficient and succinct documentation and diagrams to empower the Design team to quickly and iteratively create user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and visual design specifications, which in turn can be used by the Engineering teams to unblock development to lead the implementation
Provide detailed program status and dashboard reporting to senior executives
Be able to dive deep on specific technical issues and identify solutions to ensure success
Work with remote and local teams to deliver multiple application releases per schedule
Discover and identify stakeholder needs (external and internal), translating business needs into prioritized requirements and projects
Innovate technical solutions and organizational practices to grow Invitae business and optimize customer successes
Drive launch readiness reviews with the delivery team, stakeholders, and leadership to assure smooth, on-time delivery.
Identify and remove launch blockers, risks or dependencies, and de-risk releases on-time, on-scope, high quality-releases.
What you bring:

8+ years of relevant work experience in Technical Program/Project Management
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results launching enterprise-grade applications with customer, business, and revenue outcomes
Experience with delivering end-to-end digital SaaS products at scale (APIs platforms and/or client-facing applications – web, mobile), from concept to on-time launch to iteration
Experience managing program scope, schedule, resources, budgets, COGS
Experience delivering large cross-functional projects by partnering across multiple teams globally
Experience partnering with engineering teams to deliver Level of Effort estimates, engineering implementation, and test plans, architecture and data flow technical specifications, root cause analysis, and other technical collateral
Experience integrating software solutions with cloud-powered back-end and data warehouses/lakes
Effective communication skills, with a demonstrable ability to convey complex ideas to peers and stakeholders concisely and clearly in both written narrative and spoken form
Experience identifying and documenting product requirements, from high-level concept docs to highly specific and detailed PRDs to User Stories with clear, complete, testable, and measurable Acceptance Criteria
Technical acumen of the technologies powering products you are leading, as well as their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and rationale for architectural decisions
Strong engineering principles, familiarity with all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Expertise in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
Ability to work closely with a senior, robust team, while being a strong individual contributor
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
An ability and interest to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in value-based healthcare or the medical industry is highly desirable
PMI/PMP certification preferred
Certified Scrum Master preferred
Experience with current Web Application technologies, AWS
Experience with data analytics platforms such as Amplitude, MixPanel, etc.
Experience with Analytics, Big Data, Machine Learning
Accomplished range of skills, from high-level strategic thinking to detailed analysis
Master's degree, MBA, or an advanced technical degree
