Position Overview:
Kendra Scott is looking to hire a Site Merchandising Manager that drives merchandising initiatives to collectively enhance the success of our website channel. This individual should be experienced in building strategic merchandising initiatives based on business objectives and leading a team to see plans through to execution. Our ideal candidate is willing to roll up their sleeves and dig into the details where necessary. Successful candidates have a proven track record of being a collaborative, cross-functional partner with excellent people management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities based on changing business needs.
Responsibilities:
Site Merchandising
• Lead the overall site navigation and merchandising strategy (i.e., site structure, linking) to optimize revenue and customer engagement goals within our eCommerce channel
• Partner with our Merchandising and Planning and Allocation teams to understand product and business priorities; collaboratively develop site merchandising strategies that support the success of each product initiative
• Lead the partnership with Creative Marketing team to ensure marketing calendar and site content supports product priorities and optimal storytelling/styling
Planning
• Develop content strategy and calendar for the home page that aligns with overall business strategy; partner with Marketing and Merchandising teams
• Perform regular site audits to ensure all products, category pages, product pages, filters, search results and other various site experiences are set up accurately and functioning as expected; align closely with Planning & Allocation to ensure inventory levels are correct on the site
• Partner closely with Customer Marketing team on executing various site experiences for different segments of traffic
Analysis
• Become intimately familiar with SKU-specific metrics and develop a consistent approach to evaluating product performance
• Leverage broader customer analytics and insights to drive site performance based on customer shopping behaviors
• Understand Salesforce capabilities and partner with product and UX teams to recommend opportunities and roadmap for rolling out new merchandising features and functionalities
• Develop the strategy for A/B testing sorting rules across the website
People Management
• Serve as a leader to a team of site merchandisers within the E-Commerce & Customer Analytics organization
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 6-8 years’ experience in ecommerce/site merchandising
• Strong leadership skills, experience managing a team
• Understanding of site merchandising best practices and latest trends and tactics
• Confidence in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Ability to analyze and synthesize information, build conclusions and recommend actions
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills; ability to operationalize competing priorities is a must
• Previous experience working in a web platform, A/B testing or Personalization tool and Google Analytics is preferred
• Must be proficient MS Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel
