Solutions Architect (Acquisition)
ClearDATA is seeking a Solutions Architect for ClearDATA’s Enterprise Acquisition teams that want to use their technical and sales skills to truly make a difference in Healthcare! You'll work closely with our sales reps and play a key role in winning and growing enterprise deals and drive the business forward. We are looking for people that want to always be doing and learning more and are willing to work to make it happen.
What You’ll Do
- Traveling to visit potential and current clients (Up to 50%)
- Establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers in a position to understand service requirements
- Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
- Calculating client quotations
- Negotiating tender and contract terms
- Offering after-sales support services
- Analyzing costs and sales
- Preparing reports
- Recording and maintaining client data
- Co-ordinating sales projects
- Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
- Providing pre and post-sales technical assistance and product education
- Liaising with other members of the sales and operations teams and other technical experts
- Solving client problems
- Helping in the design of custom solutions
- Providing training and producing support material for customers and the sales and account management team(s)
- Conducting in-depth product demonstrations of products/services
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; advising customers on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements; advising customers on needed actions
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
To ensure your clients' and your own company's needs are met, you'll liaise regularly with other sales personnel, and colleagues from other departments such as product, design, purchasing and finance, operations and company executives.
Core Technical Competencies
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Advanced in AWS
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience
- Proficient in one other cloud infrastructure platform
- DevOps skills and knowledge
- Security and compliance expertise

- Strong Communication skills (both writing and oral)
- Problem Solving and Active listening skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with little supervision
- Client relations - VP, Director level
- Able to have C-level discussions and help impact their decision making
