Dealerware is looking for a Strategic Project Manager who will be responsible for developing & managing project plans for strategic, company-wide initiatives. This role will focus on defining and maintaining project management standards, introducing economies of repetition in the execution of implementation and operational activities, and driving continuous process improvements. This role will report to the Chief of Staff, and will work closely with executive leadership and their teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support and partner with cross functional project teams to manage day-to-day operational aspects of project management and support efforts to deliver on schedule, on budget, and on scope
- Build and maintain trusted, collaborative working relationships with project team members (including remote employees), leadership, stakeholders, and sponsors
- Ability to manage and facilitate meetings with structured agendas, meeting minutes, and clear outcomes to accomplish results
- Effectively communicate project status, risks and issues, and escalate for resolution when appropriate
- Follow-up on deliverables and action items to ensure they are completed on time and with quality
- Manage the close of projects, including transition from implementation to maintenance, and identify/document lessons for future projects
- Work closely with Chief of Staff to manage deadlines and prioritization of strategic initiatives
- Provide an up-to-date view of integrated initiative roadmap for company leadership
- Ensure project management best practices are implemented and followed, while recommending process improvements where appropriate
Required:
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a project manager within a corporation or agency working across multiple divisions in a fast paced environment
- Proven knowledge and application of project management principles and methodology
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience working in lean/agile, constantly changing environments
- Extremely organized and highly accountable
- Strong cross cultural and interpersonal skills with proven ability to successfully approach, build trust and relationships, and negotiate across multiple cultures, markets, communities, and leadership levels preferred
- Proven ability to consolidate information from various sources including feedback from others to resolve project issues and reach sound business decisions
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office business applications
- Experience with Project Management software such as Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.

- A passion for and/or working experience in the automotive industry experience including but not limited to roles in dealerships, dealer groups, manufacturers, or suppliers
