What we need...

  • Oil and gas professional to support onboarding, sourcing, and managing oilfield service companies for oil and gas exploration, drilling, completions, production and construction.
  • Manage client relationships and provide customer support.
  • Negotiate payment terms and contracts with vendors.
  • Collect, verify, and maintain vendor qualifications such as COI’s, W9’s, MSA’s, and safety records.
  • Support E&P clients to assist sourcing vendors for specific oil and gas products/services. 
  • Support transactional processes and invoicing.
  • Assist in tracking down and correcting any invoicing issues. 
  • Assist as required on strategic initiatives.
  • Work with Finance/Accounting, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success for smooth operations and management.
  • Petroleum knowledge with an emphasis on products/services and vendors within upstream oil and gas. 
  • Build and manage a business plan by keeping interactions tracked and all parties involved through the process.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
  • Travel: This role will require minimal travel.

About You...

  • Knowledge and interest in oil and gas industry especially consultants and vendor management.
  • Bachelor's’ degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain 
  • Management preferred.
  • A minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) supporting Oil & Gas operations, and experience working with Supplier Quality
  • Demonstrated experience related to vendor sourcing 
  • Experience in supplier negotiation, with a diverse supply base
  • Background with invoicing
  • Able to define and construct a business case around piece price and tooling
  • Must be extremely detail oriented to execute multiple tasks and priorities promptly with proven reliability and accuracy
  • Able to Identify and analyze problems in depth, and work through logical approaches to determine root cause
  • Approaches situations with a learner mindset
  • Demonstrated consistent logic, rationality and objectivity in decision-making. Achieves balance between quick decisiveness and slower, more thorough approaches
  • High degree of personal organizational skills
  • A proven track record in meeting deadlines
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • Self-motivated with a passion for achieving results, a can-do attitude that is relentless in the pursuit of their goals
  • A solution based thinker, who is always open to new methodologies and techniques for improving the efficiency and accuracy of processes. Is willing to challenge convention to change the game
  • Must have strong computer skills as well as excellent communication skills
  • Advanced in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
