What You'll Do:
The Team Lead (TL) of Project Management is responsible for engagement activities and leadership of the Professional Services (PS) project management team. The TL facilitates training, onboarding and coaching of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. This position works closely with the Manager of Professional Services to monitor project management capacity, project success and overall team KPIs.
Here's a closer look at your duties in this key role:
- Serve as primary contact for all inbound request to forecast, schedule and assign Professional Services internal and partner resources.
- Regularly meet with Corporate, Enterprise and EMEA sales teams to forecast upcoming PS engagements.
- Regularly meet with Customer Success to escalate and address inactive PS engagements.
- Work with Solutions Architects to assign Project Management and Engineer resources for custom-scoped PS engagements and create project plans for inclusion into Statements of Work (SOW) proposals.
- Manage the forward-looking capacity utilization across Project Management, Internal Engineer and Partner Engineer resources.
- Assess and monitor skillsets across Internal Engineers and Partner Engineers to determine project fit.
- Ensure pre-sale to post-sale handoff and workflows between Sales and CX are being measured and carried out successfully.
- Coordinate and submit Project Assignments for PS Partner delivery.
- Regularly monitor Kickoff Dates, Due Dates and Project Status to ensure accurate and up-to-date project tracking.
- Receive and assign inbound requests for custom PS solutions to Internal Engineers (i.e., Health Check)
- Carefully budget, estimate and monitor Internal and Partner engagement rates.
- Provide reporting and up-to-date KPIs for Internal and Partner engagement rates.
- Develop and implement PS engagement satisfaction criteria for monitoring PS success.
- Host retrospectives with project teams on medium to large projects.
- Train and onboard new Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
- Serve as escalation point for resolving project issues and ensuring success.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 8+ years professional experience
- 4-6 years IT, services or agile project management experience
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred
- Inquisitive and self-motivated leader with ability to coach and mentor others
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodology; Smartsheet, JIRA or Harvest experience a plus.
- Proven ability to independently engage, present, and communicate with senior leadership
- Creative and critical thinker with ability to translate customer needs to technical requirements
