Technical Partner Manager, Marketplace
Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.
Job description
The Atlassian Marketplace is one of the largest B2B app stores globally and has exceeded $300 million in annual app sales this past year. We work directly with our most important Marketplace Partners who help Atlassian deliver complete solutions for any team.
We are seeking a results-oriented Technical Partner (Account) Manager who is passionate about enabling opportunities for our Marketplace and Developer partners and working with cross-functional teams throughout Atlassian to make them successful.
In this role, you will:
- Become a trusted advisor to your Marketplace partners
- Establish a regular cadence with your managed partners, including conducting a quarterly business review
- Work with your partners to develop a plan to ensure ongoing partner business growth and technical success in the Atlassian Marketplace
- Represent Atlassian and the Atlassian customer to provide thought leadership in external meetings with senior executives from these Marketplace partners
- Provide input on the development and evolution program initiatives and benefits to improve joint customer success and trust
- Produce quantitative and qualitative analysis and conduct regular business reviews
- Be a champion for your Marketplace partners by defining business and technical requirements, aggregating feedback, and working alongside product teams to bring the product APIs, Marketplace features, and services they need to grow
- Work with the program head to influence cross-functional teams: product, marketing, legal, PR, developer advocacy, and support to improve and streamline the experience for our Marketplace partners with the ultimate outcome of happy customers
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 3+ years of experience working with software technology partners or (enterprise) clients
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and influencing skills
- A strong customer focus and ability to optimally and quickly build relationships and establish trust, respect, and communication with C-level executives and down
- Comfort leading and having technical and business conversations
- Strong evidence-based decision-making skills and the ability to tackle business challenges, handle opposing priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail
- Good understanding/experience with Atlassian products
Bonus points if you:
- Hold any Atlassian certifications
- Experience developing with API’s (bonus+ if you are familiar with Atlassian API’s!)
- Have worked with B2B ISV/Marketplace partners before
- Have experience with Cloud and SaaS (Software as a Service)
- Know SQL and financial modeling
- High-level understanding of Program management and development
