We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our product engineering organization and help us evolve our ecommerce capabilities to create an advantage in the vacation rental marketplace. As the scrum master for a product delivery team, you will be asked to draw on your industry expertise and agile experience to help the team focus on continuous improvement and predictable delivery.

Working with our team requires a unique blend of business insight and technical skills. You will partner with the product manager(s) to understand and communicate the product requirements, documented as JIRA stories in the product backlog. You will also work closely with the development lead to ensure the implementation follows the technical vision and demonstrates our marketplace platform architecture. You will have a healthy appetite for data and will help facilitate data-driven decisions within the team. With an eye towards continuous improvement, you will capitalize on agile coaching opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of Program/Project Management experience in a high-tech company, preferably in a B2C ecommerce environment
  • Experience with XML, JSON, Java, and SQL and general API Management
  • Broad experience driving agile software development
  • Ability to lead teams through issue resolution and risk management
  • Demonstrated ability to help teams continuously improve
  • High level of initiative, passion, and desire to create a world-class user experience for customers
  • Validated track of record managing multiple, ongoing complex projects and implementing of ecommerce applications, while delivering on schedule
  • Understanding of software development, and the ability to use those practices according to technology and business trends
  • Understanding of N-Tier software development architectures, relational databases, cloud architecture, and data warehouse architectures
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including presenting complex concepts to highly engineering and non-engineering partners
  • Comfortable presenting to large internal groups and leadership team member
  • Certified scrum master and/or Project Management a plus
  • BA/BS required preferably in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or related fields (applicable experience may be substituted)
  • 1-3 years programming experience desired, depending on level
