The main focus of this role is to oversee development planning and execution of complex projects and third-party integrations and to own creative ideation, scoping, planning and execution.

Technical Project Managers act as strategic partners with Spredfast’s enterprise customers while guiding external and internal teams to build long lasting bespoke technical solutions. This leader achieves success with a unique blend of solution strategy, product management and resourcefulness in order to maximize customers’ goals.

Responsibilities:

Product Management

  • Manage workload for all production resources including design, Front-end development, Back-end development and quality assurance to ensure a successful delivery of customer deliverables against timeline and budget.
  • Think strategically about solutions and software development at scale; get into the details of the technology and ask the questions to push the project forward.
  • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Flawless execution of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Facilitate training sessions with customer technical and marketing teams prior to launch.
  • Detail orientation to mitigate unforeseen risk in developing tailored software solutions.
  • Synthesize customer feedback and needs to Spredfast Product teams.

Strategic Partnership

  • Co-lead with Sales customer calls to discuss final product and contract questions. Identify and surface the root objectives, opportunities and next steps.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors both internally and externally.
  • Identify and evaluate customer growth opportunities within accounts, present recommendations and gain buy-in from internal stakeholders. Help facilitate ideas to customers.
  • Guide customers through best practices in social.
  • Create and present customer recaps after projects and on a quarterly basis to prove value in the Spredfast Solution and make strategic recommendations.

Creative Leadership

  • Work with internal and external teams to concept new ideas for customers.
  • Think critically to challenge presumptions and find new solutions to customer needs with a talented cross-functional team (engineers, designers, QA analysts).
  • Dream big - share your big ideas and motivate others to bring them to life.
  • Be a student of the industry - share your love of social, tech and digital trends.
  • Generate optimism and excitement for the value our team continues to deliver to our customers.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in project management: business/revenue analysis, scope definition, capacity planning, program/project management, and Agile methodologies.
  • Previous customer-facing project management experience (2-5 years min.) at an agency or software company.
  • Previous managing experience leading an Agile software development production pipeline.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, self directed environment - be comfortable in the gray.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Firm grasp of technical concepts such as HTML/CSS, Front-end, Back-end, databases, and APIs.
  • At minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science.
  • Able to travel as needed.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
