An Insider's view of Bestow

What’s the vibe like in the office?

The vibe can be hectic at times and mellow at others. I feel I am in the good company of others that are trying to create something significant; no one is ever too busy to allocate time in their day for your comments or concerns. I consider a good office atmosphere, one where healthy discourse is encouraged and Bestow Austin has it in spades.

Mikhail

Software Engineer

What makes someone successful on your team?

Success is delighting people in unexpected ways. For example, we had someone apply but wasn’t eligible. Our team researched a company that might fit their specific case and helped them apply even though it wasn’t with us! This person was literally brought to tears because they were so grateful. We made a difference for someone. That’s success.

Grant

Director, Customer Experience

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

Engineers are most engaged when they have the autonomy to make decisions on how things get built. We provide an environment where they can propose ideas, validate them and safely get to production with minimal friction. We don't micromanage decisions. We give people freedom to bring their good ideas to reality.

Brian

Vp, Engineering

What does career growth look like on your team?

At Bestow, you are not only free to define your own career path, but encouraged to step outside the boundaries and think outside the box on a daily basis. There are no limits placed on your work and you are entrusted with the responsibility and freedom to identify what problems need to be solved and how to solve them.
