Jovio is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead engineering projects for the organization’s product suite. As the owner of this function, you will be responsible for meeting project delivery targets by leading and organizing the product development team using agile methodologies. You will partner closely with key internal and external stakeholders, clients, marketing, sales, designers, and engineers to deploy and iterate on mission-critical projects.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the product development lifecycle by working cross-functionally with stakeholders, engineers, designers, and customers

  • Gather requirements, write project documentation, and prioritize user stories

  • Actively manage product roadmap and establish project priorities for the product development team

  • Drive efficiency across the organization by managing a variety of processes to deliver product, marketing, sales, and operations initiatives

  • Track record of meeting deadlines consistently with multiple assignments occurring simultaneously and documenting progress

  • Collaborate closely with engineers to understand technical restraints and requirements, and designers to implement UX best practices within the Jovio product suite

  • Create and maintain JIRA boards to prioritize user stories, track project progress, and provide status to stakeholders

  • Facilitate agile process meetings, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, and retrospectives

  • Foster communication amongst the organization to verify that the product development process is creating value internally and externally

  • Enable product adoption by documenting product features, behavior, and expected results

  • Seek out methods of optimizing processes and products by utilizing data


Background 

  • 3-5 years of technical project management or product management experience

  • Proven track record of meeting project deadlines within expected timeframes

  • Attention to detail, with the ability to write crisp and clear user stories and requirements documents

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence preferred

  • Experience working cross-functionally

  • Experience in agile software development methodologies

  • Experience thriving in a fast-growth environment

  • Experience in real estate, technology, or any B2C tech-enabled service preferred

  • A motivated, positive, proactive and transparent attitude

Our office is located right off South Lamar. It's easily walkable to some of Austin's best restaurants (including Loro which is right across the street!), coffee shops, and breweries.
