What you’ll do…
Duo Security is looking for a Receptionist to join our exciting, early stage technology company. You will be responsible for representing the Company, often times as the first impression, as you greet visitors to our office as well as those interacting with Duo via phone or email. This is a demanding position -- but you won't be doing it alone. You'll have amazing mentors throughout the organization. You will work with an amazing, dedicated team in a fast-paced, challenging, fun environment, and your work will directly impact our organization.
- Responsible for all front office activities
- Distribute incoming documents and packages, ongoing processing of outgoing and incoming courier service
- Assist, track and carry-out facilities requests through work order system This may include all correspondence with the requestor and closing out the ticket
- Ensuring guests are greeted promptly and directed to appropriate contact/department
- Maintain the stock levels for office and breakroom supplies, including tracking and ordering supplies
- Schedule/coordinate facilities work as assigned
- Assist the Office Manager in maintaining a well organized environment; assist facilities where needed
- Maintain security for the Company by monitoring visitors, requiring all visitors to sign in, and issuing visitor badges as necessary. Work closely with the Health, Safety & Security Manager on all aspects of security
- Assist with preparing for and resolving company events and meetings as needed
- Order business cards for employees
- Assist the Office Manager/facilities team as needed
Skills you have…
- Excellent communication skills including listening skills, telephone skills, in person communication, and writing skills;
- A positive, friendly, and service-oriented attitude;
- A professional, helpful, collaborative demeanor;
- The ability to work in a fast-paced office;
- Experience with Google Calendar or other web-based scheduling applications;
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail, and MS Office products;
- Excellent organization skills;
- Understanding of mailing and shipping systems, such as FedEx, UPS, and USPS;
- Consistent punctuality for events, meetings, and work start times;
- Foresight for ensuring work responsibilities are covered when absent.
