About the Role:
CrowdStrike's Risk & Insurance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing various risk management programs along with managing claims. This position works cross-functionally with key stakeholders and the Director of Risk Management to provide transparency to risk exposures and to propose cost-effective risk management strategies.
Primary responsibilities involve assisting with (and in some cases leading) the policy renewal process for various lines of insurance coverages by gathering and submitting exposure data for the markets, receiving and analyzing quotes for best pricing, terms and conditions, assisting with decisions to bind, assisting in preparing presentations to executive management and reviewing /tracking policy issuance, along with other related post-binding items.
Additional responsibilities involve managing premium invoices, reviewing the insurance language requirements found in contracts, answering coverage questions, providing certificates of insurance, supporting insurance audits, project management and support trainings for internal stakeholders.
What You'll Do:

  • Support submission of forecasts, annual operating plans, and audits.
  • Manage gathering insurance exposures, allocating premiums, reconciling accounts, drafting forecasts and submitting audit materials. Write procedures as necessary.
  • Engage with the business segments in regard to publishing current insurance summaries and a master calendar of events highlighting the exposure gathering timeline for insurance renewals.
  • Participate in updating the Risk Management Insurance dashboards and request workflow to provide up-to-date information to internal stakeholders.
  • Engage in Project Management in support the Risk & Insurance function.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the area of risk and insurance matters involving customer/vendor contracts and leases.
  • Work with Legal regarding litigated claims/demands and responding to insurers' requests for legal defense spend and overall status of insurance claims.
  • Participate in cross-functional efforts to support corporate goals.
  • Specific focus on day-to-day support of key internal stakeholders with regard to multiple lines of insurance.


What You'll Need:

  • BS/BA in Risk Management Insurance, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 10 years or Graduate Degree with minimum 8 years prior related insurance experience in corporate risk management, insurance brokerage firm, insurance carrier or insurance regulatory authority.
  • Broad knowledge of corporate risk management function, insurance marketplace and all major insurance lines.
  • Technical knowledge of insurance policies and coverage terms.
  • Demonstrated managerial, organizational, and analytical skills including judgement/decision making.
  • Ability to work cross functional and maintain effective working relationships with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Facilities, Real Estate, and Compliance.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $105,000 - $160,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
