Sales Development Representative, Inbound
BigCommerce, named a "Best Place to Work" in Austin in 2017, is looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative, Inbound to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying and cultivating new sales leads helping us on our mission to power success for brands and revolutionize commerce!
What you will do
- Generate leads and close business through Inbound phone calls.
- Qualify leads including detailed needs analysis, product overview, and potential solution fit.
- Customer Service - Handle and route existing clients to support/billing teams as needed.
- Educate clients on the BigCommerce value proposition.
- Crush all sales targets and performance metrics.
- Be organized - maintain a CRM with leads and effectively manage an account set, keep detailed and accurate notes of all sales related activities.
- Communicate with the BC management team and team members to increase client satisfaction, conversion and drive overall sales improvements - this is your company too.
Who you are
- 1-3 years experience in high volume, fast-paced inside sales environment is ideal.
- Persuasive with strong negotiation skills - it is a sales job.
- Experience with Web Based Applications (SaaS), Windows, Salesforce and Microsoft Office a plus.
- You geek out over eCommerce - basic understanding of HTML, CSS and internet technologies (shopping carts, web hosting, email and online marketing tools).
- Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on quality and business performance - you do the right things the right way.
- Communication is your middle name - excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills.
- Trustworthy - ability to manage sensitive client information.
