Role Summary:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a proactive, collaborative individual who thrives on making connections in order to help move deals forward. The goal of the SDR is to seek new opportunities with restaurant merchants by identifying, contacting, documenting, and qualifying potential customers. In this role, you will be a driving force for the company by acquiring new leads and prospecting high-value deals in coordination with and while supporting the inKind Account Executive team. Additionally the SDR will review inbound leads, examine our past lost opportunities, and engage with current restaurant merchants to seek referrals.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Initiate conversations and assess viability of inbound leads
- Maintain a consistent level of activity in order to keep a full pipeline including reviewing old leads and lost opportunities for potential re-engagement
- Partner closely with Account Executives to engage new restaurant partners and support prospecting efforts
- Conduct high volume prospecting and outreach, providing lists of highly qualified leads including the contact information of decision-makers to the proper Account Executive
- Work cross functionally with with marketing and demand generation in order to refine our approach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners in order to secure future leads and referrals
- Manage administrative and support functions for the Sales team, including accurately tracking and updating deals and communications in Salesforce in a timely manner
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in an SDR or sales role, preferably in Hospitality, FinTech, or SaaS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
- Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with restaurants or food-related entities/clients
- Experience in a start-up environment is a plus
Work Environment:
- The candidate in this position will be primarily located in an office environment and be exposed to lighting, temperature, and noise level conditions typical of that environment
- This position is primarily in-person, with an expectation of in-person work at the physical office location in Austin, Texas

Salary:
- $70,000 base + up to $20,000 annual commission potential
