As an Account Coordinator, you will grow the customer base by securing new customers using the Shipyard Staffing business development model, leveraging existing customer relationships from other Shipyard Staffing branches, networking and establishing a strong industry presence within the branch market, directing and managing field employees, making sales and service calls, and ensuring all policies and internal operational procedures are followed. Professionals will use their deep sector knowledge and strategic selling experience to provide solutions to clients’ priorities, embrace the digital transformation, and maximize operational efficiency.
What you should have:
- Proven record of successful B2B sales experience
- Previous outside sales and/or business development experience in the staffing industry highly preferred
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; phone and customer service skills, problem solving skills
- Positive employee and client relations
- Team player who can also work independently
- Fundamental computer and office skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, insurance, and reliable transportation required
- Experience in Marine or Trade Labor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, while prioritizing work responsibilities
- Proficient in Google Suite, TempWorks, and CRM Databases preferred
