What are we looking for?

Intertek Alchemy is looking to hire a highly motivated Account Development Representative to generate new business opportunities in an assigned territory via telephone, E-mail, and LinkedIn interactions. The primary responsibility expected of our Account Development team is to generate a specific quantity of qualified meetings with the right decision makers resulting in new business.

What you'll do:

  • Generates and schedule qualified face-to-face and virtual meetings conducive to the situation, prospect’s request, and the Area Sales Manager schedule and feedback  
  • Maintains a consistent level of activity performance based on the expected KPI’s of the ADR role
  • Identifies and assists in the development of strategic relationships with associations and potential customers; seeks to understand the unique needs of each prospective organization  
  • Presents a clear, articulate summary of progress and findings within the territory including company information, products in use, objections, buying personas and characteristics  
  • Demonstrates effective presentation skills and proven success in qualifying opportunities and determining next steps involving multiple decision makers
  • Acquires new contacts and nurtures existing within an assigned geography and relevant to our product and market fit  
  • Qualify leads, determine and engage company decision makers, influencers, technical contacts, users, and coaches unique to considering Alchemy’s solutions
  • Demonstrates the ability to routinely engage in BANT related questions to best understand the opportunity, urgency, and fit  
  • Assists in the development of a robust pipeline of new prospects spanning accounts  
  • Travel periodically to tradeshows or onsite Company visits with an Area Sales Manager (up to 23 times annually

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 1 year of phone prospecting experience  
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills  
  • Candidates must independently prospect in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints and perform multiple tasks concurrently and efficiently  
  • Strong aptitude for technology, ability to demonstrate conduct effective product demonstrations
  • Background in selling solutions to Food Processing and Manufacturing clients is preferred
