The Gig

The Account Director will head a dedicated account team to fulfill the agency’s vision of delivering best-in-class, strategically sound solutions.  The ideal candidate will excel at thinking outside of the box when problem solving or working to bring innovative ideas to life within our highly collaborative and dynamic workplace. Being a strategic lead in helping solve the over-arching business problem is a must.

This position will work to foster client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and account viability, while being an authoritative voice in driving and  developing, the overall strategic direction of the client’s business. They will manage client communications, budgets, internal team communication, project schedules, etc for clients with both  B2B and B2C needs.

As a key part of the agency's client-facing team, this role will work along side agency leadership, creative teams, development teams and other departments to produce and launch great work to drive a holistic and end-to-end approach to answer our client’s business needs.  


Who you are

The Ideal candidate is a strategic-powerhouse. Confident, yet unassuming leader, a self-starter, fun & personable, responsible, always “big picture”, while being detail oriented and both a client advocate and an agency champion. Prior senior-level account management experience working with large fortune 500 clients in a leading account role is a must, preferably at a digital agency. Must also have experience working with interactive/digital advertising. Experience driving agency process in delivering digital audience engagement and consumer life cycle marketing with hands on experience in implementing best-in-class social integration, initiatives and tactics is preferred.

What you gotta know

  • 10+ years previous advertising agency account management experience. Interactive Agency experience is required, traditional agency experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to actively develop and lead over-arching client strategy for supporting programs in a B2B and B2C capacity.
  • You are comfortable and can own building a strategic deck for your clients.
  • Experience pitching new business, developing the pitch, and working as a strategic lead on the pitch team
  • CRM experience ideally running a sizable scaled programs is preferred
  • Social campaign experience is also preferred 
  • Fortune 500 client experience preferred
  • Dynamic, innovative, business savvy personality
  • Proven experience at organically growing/scaling business at an agency environment
  • Proven track record as a team lead and mentor whose role has been shaping team member’s growth and journey

Coinage

Salary is based on qualifications and experience and is competitive with market value for the position.
