This position is expected to be filled in the Austin area even though our team is fully distributed for the time being. We are continuously evaluating our return to the office with the safety of our employees and their families at top of mind.
What You'll Do
The demand for solutions to address cybersecurity challenges is growing with each breach. In the few minutes it'll take you to read this, approximately 50K records will be stolen as a result of a vendor being breached. Shockingly, that's a 250% increase from just 2 years ago and our mission is to stop all of those from happening!
We're looking for driven sales professionals to join our Commercial Account Executive team and help us continue to dominate the vendor privileged access management (VPAM) category. As an Account Executive, you'll work with prospects to determine if our solution can solve this problem they're facing. In addition to qualifying leads, produced from our marketing and business development teams, you'll have the opportunity to also generate incremental leads within your territory. Through interactions with prospects, Account Executives identify decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and close new business. The perfect candidate has a track record of consistently exceeding sales quota while being a team member that lives the values that make SecureLink an amazing place to work. Some day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Manage all opportunities through the full sales process from qualifying leads generated from Marketing and Business Development to close
- Set up and conduct discovery and solution overview presentations with identified management executives at targeted companies
- Document details of identified opportunities to ensure accurate and timely follow up on opportunities, leads, and prospects
- Generate incremental opportunities adequate to maintain a sales pipeline to support quota attainment via outbound prospecting efforts
- Strike the right balance of performing outbound calls to prospects and leads and follow up to manage the sales pipeline
- Support specific marketing programs, lead generation campaigns, and targeted sales activities
- Accurately forecast attainment on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Constantly strive for self-improvement and possess the curiosity to stay abreast of industry and market trends by utilizing various research organizations, sales books, and collateral
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of proven success in a Business/Sales Development Rep role or 1 year in Inside Sales Rep/Account Executive role.
- SaaS, healthcare, and security software experience is a plus
- Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven organizational and presentation skills
- Passion to build professional relationships and create rapport by telephone with prospects at all levels, including the executive or owner level
- Ability to uncover opportunities via phone conversation through insightful questions to create a vision for prospects as to how they will benefit from our products and services
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly with expectation of explaining technical solutions to a non-technical audience
- A growth mindset along with the passion to learn and adapt to new processes
- Coachability and desire to leverage team-selling concepts
- Competitive nature, but also a collaborative team player mentality
- Passion for winning and a strong desire to succeed
