Advertising Account Executive
Location: Austin, TX

We are looking for an Advertising Account Executive to join Grocery TV, the largest digital ad network in grocery with a growing footprint in other retail types like pharmacies and convenience stores. As a member of our sales team, you'll introduce our network to regional businesses and agencies and help them develop campaigns that achieve their marketing goals.

Responsibilities
- Develop a pipeline through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge/intelligence
- Manage a full-cycle role from prospecting to building relationships with the right stakeholders to closing deals.
- Work with our Accounts team to transition closed accounts, improve our customer experience, and increase retention.
- Work with our product team to share customer feedback and new product ideas.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering departments to build strong brand awareness, increase inbound leads, and execute sales strategy as new products and features are released
- Play an integral part in our company's development and have the opportunity to be a founding member of the sales team.
Growth Opportunities
As an individual contributor, you'll start calling on mid-market leads and work up to progressively larger agencies and brands. You will collaborate directly with our Director of Sales to develop all the foundational skills necessary to become a National Account Executive. As a National AE, you begin selling directly to large national accounts and CPG brands. If you're interested in management opportunities, you'll have regular coaching opportunities for new AEs hired after you.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in media and/or advertising.
- Excellent people & communication skills
- Comfortable presenting information to potential clients and decision-makers with confidence & enthusiasm.
- Highly-detailed and an appreciation for organization
- Ability to work and collaborate with a small, fast-paced team
- Love for the startup environment and building new things
- Experience in a sales role not required, but helpful
Compensation
We are proud to have full salary transparency on our team, and use a market-based formula that provides consistency across roles & experience levels. The current compensation range for this role is:
- Base Salary: $60K-$80K/year
- On-Target Earnings: $116K-$160K/year (with 100% quota attainment)
- Uncapped Commission
