Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing RunTitle's network of buyers and sellers. This includes nurturing, selling, and ultimately closing deals in a high-volume fast-paced environment. You'll work side-by-side with the VP of Sales to develop scalable processes, manage lead lists, design re-marketing campaigns, etc. As a true business consultant, you'll need to quickly learn the basics of the upstream oil and gas industry on top of the RunTitle value proposition. You will be in charge of your own business in a highly dynamic sales cycle, building your own pipeline and closing your own deals. This is a direct revenue generation role with opportunity for growth in closing, buyer development, and/or leadership roles.
RunTitle is an Austin-based venture-backed enterprise software company innovating within the 100 year-old oil and gas title industry. We're looking for someone who is eager to disrupt an extremely archaic industry, but also enjoys startup perks, happy hours, and afternoon ping pong showdowns. We're a small but quickly growing team, so every single person here has a mission critical impact on our business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both buyers and sellers to effectively enable transactions
  • Build urgency with buyers/sellers and orchestrate the sales process to close to a timeframe
  • Carry and excel against a personal quota in a full cycle sales - creating your own pipeline, developing your pipeline, and closing deals
  • Constantly be improving upon our various pitches
  • Create targeted and thoughtful email/phone campaigns and messaging
  • Educate prospects on RunTitle’s value proposition
  • Work closely with VP of Sales on various projects and initiatives
A little more about you:
  • 2+ years in a closing role
  • Empathetic
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline, handling next steps and overcoming objections 
  • Self accountable to goals and personal growth
  • You’re crazy organized and have a foolproof system for managing/prioritizing numerous deals at once
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps
  • Intelligent with very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Hungry, competitive, and optimistic, with an unrelenting drive to succeed
  • Completed a college degree
  • You’re a leader amongst your peers
  • Experience with outbound sales
  • FINRA series 22, 63, or other certifications (currently hold the license or have passed the certification exams within the last 3 years)
  • First-hand knowledge of oil and gas, or you grew up around the industry
  • Experience in Salesforce
  • You had a lemonade stand as a kid or sold coupon books door-to-door
