The Gig

The Account Supervisor will play an instrumental role in working with our account teams and clients to grow accounts, create new opportunities and fulfill the agency’s vision. This position will work with new and existing accounts to create and grow strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and account viability, while also owning tasks such as briefs, client communications, budgets, internal team communication, project schedules, etc. As a key part of the agency's client-facing team, this role will work along side agency leadership, creative teams, development teams, etc. to produce and launch great work.

Who you are

The Ideal candidate is a self-starter, fun & personable, responsible, detail oriented and both a client advocate and an agency champion. Prior account management experience in an agency setting is a must. This person is energetic, yet composed. A tenacious self-starter. Superb at time management, diplomatic and committed to transparent communication. You thrive in an atmosphere where the intern’s ideas are given as much respect at the executive management. A client advocate and an agency champion, you aspire to deliver industry-leading creative work. The spirit of the entrepreneur is strong in you---you take ownership of your team and projects; are equally proactive in merry making as problem solving. You are driven by a need to leave things better than you found them. Your PowerPoint and Excel skills will blow minds.  Your brief writing could inspire a nation. You have experience successfully managing projects with a large number of assets and moving parts across the various marketing mediums.

What you gotta know

  • 5 -7 years+ previous advertising agency account management experience.
  • Experience managing clients and key stakeholders including internal teams, agency partners and external vendors.
  • Experience with Fortune 500 clients. Bonus points if you have both B2B and B2C experience. 
  • A proven ability to drive ideation and strategic development on your allotted accounts or on new business pitches.
  • You are confident owning mid-tier client relationships in a strategic capacity. You have the ability to address or field client concerns at almost any level, while still knowing when to escalate issues to your Account Director.
  • You have experience determining data, creative, and technology requirements for all projects within portfolio, and communicated detailed requests to respective teams, while simultaneously overseeing documentation and all team deliverables for client programs.
  • You can create/own project SOWs and financial templates.
  • You understand how agencies make money and the balance of driving efficiency while delivering great work. You know when to fight for more time.
  • You are adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced/fluid environment that is not defined by a play book, and nearly always requires thinking strategically to get to the answer.

Would be Great if you have

  • Experience working in managed email, digital, and analytic reports from initiation to final delivery. --- extra points for Salesforce marketing cloud, adobe campaigns, or market experience with Omniture, Google analytics, or any large scale analytics platform.

Coinage

Salary/hourly Rate is based on qualifications and experience and is competitive with market value for the position.
