Our Admission Representative is responsible for the experience of a potential student from the moment they apply to the first day of class. In this role, you would be in charge of building a trusting relationship with every applicant whether they attend our classes or not, guiding them through the admissions process, and filling the classes with capable candidates. While this is not directly a sales role, sales skills are necessary to show potential students why sacrificing their free time and paying tuition will be worth it long-term when they successfully transition careers into web development. A desire to change people’s lives for the better is a must!

It is this role’s responsibility to make sure future students have a deep understanding of the path, expectations, choices, and outcomes of the programs offered by ACA.

Schedule: 40hrs, generally 9-6 with flexibility for evening events.

Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Guide candidates from application to enrollment

  • Own the admissions process and adapt the system as needed

  • Be a wealth of information about the program to help potential students’ decision

  • Plan and emcee Open House events

  • Conduct campus tours and phone Q&As

  • Reach out to qualified leads to encourage applying

  • Communicate promptly with candidates through email, phone/text, and in-person

  • Monitor payments of tuition, payment collection when necessary

  • Manage a sales funnel with precision and accurately report results weekly

  • Set proper expectations for incoming students

  • Smoothly pass off student relationship to the instructor and campus director


  • You have 2-3 years in sales or relevant client-facing communication and relationship management

  • You have experience using a CRM, HubSpot preferred

  • You have an entrepreneurial attitude, finding creative ways to enroll students

  • Your organization skills are a habit, for tracking dozens of candidates over time

  • You are personable and approachable

  • You have endless empathy

  • You are flexible for a fast-paced environment

  • You are willing to learn and receive coaching

  • If you have no coding experience, a willingness to follow part or all of ACA program
