Reporting to the VP, Product & Underwriting, the Affiliate & Partnership Sales Manager will work with new and existing Payroll Partners as well as prospective Affinity Programs and financial services platform providers, to generate new business for Cerity. This position will be responsible for building and executing effective managed sales plans at a Partner and Program level to help achieve Cerity’s top line goals. Specific duties include:
- Identify prospective partnerships and work to nurture and win new partnerships and affinity programs
- Serve as the central point of contact/liaison for onboarding all new partnerships
- Establish annual sales goals for, and manage the performance of, each partnership
- Develop, implement and drive targeted sales plans with all partners and affinity programs to meet Cerity’s goals
- Monitor new & renewal sales, retention, and partner remuneration metrics monthly to ensure premium plan goal achievement
- Work closely with all company departments to optimize Cerity’s brand offering to the marketplace
- Serve as the “voice of the partner” and work with internal product teams to develop new, and improve existing, products
- Champion payroll partner needs internally for service, automation prioritization, and collaborative marketing
- Manage any third party vendors who assist with sales activities
- Educate partners on the value of Cerity’s products; teach them how to use them to grow their respective businesses
- Assist leadership in establishing annual company sales goals & objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years or more of P&C insurance related work experience
- Licensed General Lines Property and Casualty Producer in home state or successfully pass exam within 2 months of hire date
- Thorough understanding of the insurance industry and underwriting/pricing concepts
- Direct Partner & Program contact and occasional direct selling in collaboration with Partners
- CRM savvy; experience withHubSpot is preferred

- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with business partners
- Strong interpersonal skills at any level of an organization: owner/senior leadership, technical/development staff, service representatives
- Desire to operate and thrive in a rapidly growing and changing environment
- Excellent organizational skills as well as attention to detail
Locations:
This position can be located in Austin, TX or Reno, NV. Remote possibilities also considered
