Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in SaaS, IaaS and PaaS sales and/or consulting.
  • 5 years of experience with AI/ML applications and positioning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience selling to enterprise customers.
  • Understanding of the AI/ML technology stack and deployment options in the cloud.
  • Ability to build influential relationships and work in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to plan, present, and execute a start to finish sales strategy.
  • Effective written/verbal communication/presentation skills.

About the job

As an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Sales Specialist, you'll be a solution sales executive in our Center of Excellence within the direct enterprise sales organization, and working closely with our enterprise sales force and largest customers to help them shape their cloud strategy and enable their digital transformation.

You'll use your knowledge of AI/ML offerings and customer base, and the sales strategies required to help prospective customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud and navigate the acquisition processes. As a member of the Google Cloud team, your focus is on customers that want to run AI/ML workloads on Google Cloud Platform. You advocate for the innovative power of our products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accountability for AI/ML workloads on Google Cloud within the assigned region and/or vertical, direct customer pursuits, drive customer success through indefatigable embrace, activation and leverage of highly capable internal and external organizations.
  • Work with wider Google Account teams and AI/ML counterparts to drive demand, and provide guidance to Marketing/Partners to develop campaigns. Build a pipeline of customers within assigned region and/or verticals.
  • Scale execution through core field sales teams (reduce time to first sale for new teams and new accounts; and accelerate the velocity of complex pursuits in established accounts).
  • Scale execution through partners (in conjunction with field sales teams in certain segments and independent of field sales teams in other segments).
  • Drive customer success through indefatigable embrace, activation and leverage of highly capable internal and external organizations.
