Position Overview:
We have a unique opportunity to join our Specialty Wholesale team as an Account Executive supporting the Northeast region and developing our Corporate Sales/B2B Wholesale program. Reporting to our Regional Sales Manager, the Wholesale Account Executive is responsible for supporting, developing and driving existing business as well as prospecting, cultivating and growing new business. Our ideal candidate is a dependable, highly motivated team player who will represent our brand and provide exceptional support to our Wholesale team and our partners. This role combines the need for proven sales experience and exceptional communication skills to ensure our relationships with new and existing wholesale partners maintain the highest standard and level of business.
Responsibilities:
Revenue
• Meet or exceed all individual monthly, quarterly and annual wholesale revenue plans
• Identify additional revenue opportunities within each account through new product offerings, events, and visual merchandising enhancements in addition to other creative planning ideas
• Forecast monthly and yearly revenue projections for actual inventory units and dollars within specific capsule and seasonal collections
• Reinvigorate wholesale partnerships within mature markets to achieve wholesale revenue targets
Prospecting
• Develop an action plan and priority list for prospecting new accounts based on given territory saturation and customer segments
• Log all prospecting efforts on a weekly basis and report to wholesale management
• Determine any open opportunities while protecting our current business and ensuring continued growth
Account Maintenance
• Ensure customers are meeting minimum quarterly guidelines for revenue and product assortment needs
• Monitor seasons ordered, dollars purchased, account sell through, events, returns and sales performance for each account in given territory/control
• Understand each account’s Kendra Scott business and guide them in best practices to maximize revenue
• Plan events with accounts to maximize excitement over the Kendra Scott brand with new launches, Kendra Gives Back events, etc.
• Collaborate with retail, events and web cross functional partners on ideas to support the brand and demand in your territory
• Implement visual merchandising standards across all accounts to ensure a consistent customer experience that complements our Kendra Scott retail stores
Corporate Sales Responsibility
• Create and manage a corporate and large account gifting and sales program aimed at providing the best product offering and customer experience
• Develop action plan, strategy, and priority list for prospecting new and track progress weekly
• Evaluate prospective partners to align with brand representation
• Collaborate regularly with wholesale team, management and related departments to overcome challenges/roadblocks in process
• Work directly with inventory teams on current product opportunities and production teams on timelines for bulk orders
• Determine best product and assortment presentations for bulk orders and gifting promotions
Travel
• Travel to markets to present new collections and support team members
• Plan and execute road trips throughout your territory to present new collections, sales training and visual merchandising assistance
• Travel to accounts for trunk shows and events as needed
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Must reside in NYC or be willing to relocate to operate out of the Kendra Scott showroom
• 5+ years' experience in wholesale sales
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Wholesale experience and/or familiarity with the Northeast region is preferred
• Ability to operate tactically and strategically in a high-growth, dynamic environment
• Passion for the brand and its core values: Family, Fashion, Philanthropy
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
