About Us:

Cart.com is an ecommerce software and services company on a mission to democratize ecommerce and give digital merchants the freedom to grow. We are integrating all the pieces of the ecommerce value chain brands need to thrive, creating a truly end-to-end Ecommerce-as-a-Service platform that helps third party brands move faster, grow more quickly, and deliver on their promises more completely.

Cart.com is expanding its business development team, and looking for core team members to take ownership and drive success. We are looking for candidates who will drive needle-moving strategic partner deals from start to finish: including researching and identifying business opportunities, developing meaningful business relationships with target partners, crafting and pitching, negotiating deal terms, and maintaining ongoing relationships and ensuring lead referral results. 

Responsibilities

  • Selectively manage and prioritize launched partners (10-20 simultaneously) to ensure we are driving leads from referral partners and optimizing partner relationship. 
  • Identify new potential partnerships that generate qualified leads into Cart.com and establish those relationships. 
  • Qualify leads from our leading referral partners and accelerate them through sales cycle, working collaboratively with Sales team. 
  • Use partner insights to identify opportunities to improve our products and processes.
  • Use tools such as ClickUp, Salesforce, JIRA, Microsoft Suite to track and communicate project statuses 

Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience directly working on strategic partnerships, sales, vendor management and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience sourcing and maintaining partner relationships 
  • Experience of working independently, managing multiple simultaneous work streams and working cross-functionally 
  • Ability to connect and engage with internal and external partner teams at all levels of the organization 
  • Curious, collaborative, and outcome driven
  • Team player that is comfortable in fast-paced environments

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 
  • E-commerce, software or platform experience
