Role Overview:
We are looking for an entry level Business Development Representative to support our Account Management team. Your role will be to reach out to our existing client base and qualify them as potential cross-sell opportunities for our Mid-Market Account Management team.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with outbound calls, developing leads from marketing campaigns or an existing client base and meeting quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospects via traditional (phone and email) and new (texting) channels. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
Proactively seek cross-sell opportunities through cold calls and emails
Present and pitch our products convincingly to our existing client base
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize recommendations to increase customer satisfaction
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
Set up qualified meetings between our existing client base and Account Managers
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Requirements:
At least 6 months of experience in a related role making outbound calls, lead generation, setting up demos, account management, up-selling, cross-selling or any other relevant work experience
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of achieving quotas
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), SalesLoft is a plus
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Marketing Agency experience is a plus
