Who You Are
You love being a BDR. In your 3+ years of experience, you consistently exceed your goals for appointments and qualified opportunities. Because you’re great at your job, your peers look to you for those talking points that unfailingly engage prospects, for that positive attitude that carries you through the more challenging days, and for your wisdom on what’s important to track. You want to keep being a BDR, making those calls, talking to those prospects, but you would like to try out aspects of a management role and think being a player/coach would be a great way to go.
On a Daily Basis as a Business Development Representative III at Zenoss, you will
Make cold prospecting calls to generate interest in Zenoss enterprise solutions, exceeding your weekly/monthly/quarterly goals for meetings, pipeline, and activity
Identify and make recommendations for improvements around process, efficiency and productivity of the BDR team.
Research individuals and companies and initiate human touches to identify and qualify new opportunities.
Leverage modern marketing technology tools to develop and engage prospects
Lead day-to-day operational cadence for our BDR team: track progress to goals, Salesforce metrics, run and review reports, run weekly huddles, take notes and respond to action items.
Have a maniacal focus on outcomes and impact. Closely monitor metrics – everything from dials per day, conversion rates to opportunities, hand-off to sales and close rates – with the aim to increase BDR productivity, contribution to pipeline and bookings.
Onboard and assist in training new team members.
Schedule and plan meetings and events.
Infuse the marketing and sales floor with energy, positivity, and creativity
Operate with a high level of business production and personal integrity with minimum supervision
What You Bring to the Table:
3+ years of experience in a BDR role
Positive, energetic presence with exceptional communication skills: oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
Passion to learn our business, customers, and technology.
Knowledge and understanding of social networking and collaboration software a plus
Team-player mindset; thrive in a healthy, competitive, and collaborative environment
Familiarity with CRM applications, like Salesforce.com; if not, we’ll teach you how to use them!
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
