Job description

Our Beamery Sales Team is growing globally and we're on the hunt for some amazing talent to join our Business Development Team in our Austin office.

As a Business Development Representative, your job will be to lay the foundation for the rest of the sales team by engaging with customers and prospects, helping them understand the benefits of Beamery and progressing them in the sales process. We’re creating a new category in the Talent Acquisition space, so you’ll spend a ton of time evangelizing the product and asking prospects to think differently. You will be on the front lines, and you’ll play a key role in representing the brand and bringing back crucial information to the rest of the team. We overinvest in the growth and development of every new hire, and are looking for people who want to make an immediate impact and progress through the ranks of our team.

What will you be doing as part of the Beamery Sales team?

  • Fostering new relationships through inbound lead channels and outbound efforts.
  • Identifying customer needs and collaborate with teammates on product fit.
  • Segmenting target company lists, identifying prospects, and initiating new evaluations
  • Collaborating and working with different members of the Sales and Accounts team (Account Executives, Technical Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, Leadership, etc.) to build a scalable, repeatable top of funnel process.
  • Serving as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product.
  • Sharing your experience, learning, and knowledge with the team: we want to see growth for everyone at Beamery

What would we like to see from you?

  • You are an excellent communicator— we love storytelling here at Beamery, whether that be in-person with some of our key prospects or by means of crafting truly awesome email copy.
  • You have a strong track record of success and leadership in previous roles and/or educational career.
  • You have a point of view but are low ego in nature: we want to foster a culture of collaboration above all else.
  • You have the ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously at various stages of engagement.
  • You are interested in progressing your career as a salesperson.
  • If you have any prior experience in recruitment, HR tech, or artificial intelligence tech, don't forget to mention it.
