Business Development Representative

Who you are:

As a Business Development Representative, you will be growing your own enterprise pipeline primarily through generating sales leads and promoting Iris Telehealth’s services to new accounts. You are a motivated and results-driven lead hunter who enjoys working in a dynamic team environment. Your ability to elicit emotional buy-in and ask probing questions is second to none and you guide your prospect through the selling funnel.

 What you’ll be doing:

  • Daily prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Clinical Partnership team – including colds calls, emails, and social media engagement

  • Effectively identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources, including inbound marketing leads, prospecting lists, tradeshow and event lists, and self-sourced research

  • Engaging with decision makers and influencers at mid-sized to enterprise level businesses to uncover opportunities for telepsychiatry solutions for one of our business units

  • Quickly develop value-based business relationships with B2B customers

  • You will set qualified appointments and develop leads for our Clinical Partnership team – including introductory presentations on Iris Service’s

  • Identify client needs and requirements via consultative process

  • Develop internal sales relationships to advance territory funnels

What You'll Need:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Organizational skills in a detail-oriented setting

  • Team player with the ability to multitask in a results-driven environment

  • Competitive nature with a solution-focused mindset

  • Proficient in MS Office skills and related computer knowledge

  • World class oral and written communication skills

  • At least 1-year experience making outbound calls

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales activity and quotas at previous/current job

It would be nice if you have:

  • Experience with B2B marketing in a successful, high-growth small company ($5-50M in revenue, key player in that growth)

  • The ability to find and gain attention from the proper target buyer within a complex, enterprise organization

  • Experience being measured by appointments set and qualified sales conversions

  • Experience with sales tech and enablement tools (SFDC, Outreach.io, etc.)

This is an onsite position based out of our Austin, Texas office. We prefer hands on collaboration, so this position is not available for remote workers.
