We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Rep to contribute on our growing team and business. Your main objectives are straightforward — reach out to promising leads, discover pains and needs, introduce them to our solution, and convert them into loyal customers.  This role will also work closely with our channel sales partners to collaborate on demos and opportunities.

System Surveyor is an Austin “A-List” company with a big future. The company offers a Business to Business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to professionals in the electronic security, IT, Audio-Visual and Building Automation industries and more. Based in Southwest Austin, the company is poised for rapid growth in 2019 – and we need some dedicated and ambitious “A-players”.

Your Overall Responsibilities:

Engage with prospects, discover needs, and manage deals to close by selling to senior management or small to medium size business

·Sell high value B2B SaaS online with web conferencing and over the phone working with channel partners or with inbound leads - must also be comfortable with outbound prospecting

·Keep close tabs on the status of prospects, detailing their needs, tracking discussions, and intelligently following up

·Perform pain discovery and provide demos to potential customers interested in a first-hand look at the product

·Achieve sales benchmarks for the company and meet your financial goals

Who We’re Looking For:

There are a few qualifications we have in mind for the special someone to fill this position. Here’s the know-how and expertise we’re looking for:

·Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

·1-5 years of sales experience, with expertise in persuasiveness and negotiation

·Familiarity with technology, SaaS is preferred, experience with electronic security, AV or other systems a plus

·Experience working with CRM software like Hubspot or Salesforce.com

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and webinar conferencing

·A relentless drive to connect with, listen, inform, and convert leads

·Ambitious, independent, and goal-driven with a laser-like focus on exceeding your metrics

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills and great organizational skills

 

Your Pay and Perks:

We’re an Austin-based tech company. We aim to offer competitive salaries, as well as advancement and growth opportunities (plus plenty of perks) in order to secure top talent. This role will include a structured, world-class sales training program and on-boarding plan provided for the first 90 days and ongoing to maximize success.
