Sales Development Representative

Zello is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our revenue team offering one of the best rated push-to-talk platforms in the industry. Our Sales Development team is an essential component to our sales organization, you will be at the forefront of our growth trajectory. As a Sales Development Representative you will be responsible for net new opportunity development, educating individuals on the impact Zello can have on their organization.

This position reports to the Manager, Business Development and is based out of our Austin, TX office.
What you’ll do
- Create new business opportunities, fueling Zello’s growth
- Partner and execute flawless campaigns with Accounts Executives to help towards quota attainment
- Engage with Director or above contacts within Enterprise sized organizations through Phone, Video, Email, and others channels to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to solve, staying highly strategic in your approach
- Work directly with various team members to create and work through contact lists, develop new messaging, and strategize on how to develop new opportunities adding to our top of funnel pipeline
- Conduct daily activities inclusive but not limited to: Research, Task follow up, and management of new outreach
- Execute on various marketing campaigns to support integrated sales and marketing demand generation initiatives
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives
What you’ll bring
- 1+ years of experience within the SaaS industry
- 2+ years of overall Sales/Business Development experience or equivalent
- A plus if you have prior frontline industry experience (working within or selling to)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Energy and enthusiasm. You are self-motivated, positive, and passionate about serving others demonstrating grit and a drive to learn
- A desire to excel within your sales career
- Curiosity and a desire to push the limits of success no matter what challenges are presented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fantastic active listening skills. You are able to uncover customer needs and problems articulating how Zello can impact their business
- Team player who is coachable and willing to receive and implement feedback and not afraid to give feedback in a collaborative environment
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated track record of meeting & exceeding KPIs and targets
- Experience and understanding of tools including HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo or similar prospecting and CRM platforms
