SafeLease enables commercial real estate owners to maximize the value of their assets. We're expanding on the early success of our tenant insurance product by building a platform that unlocks new revenue channels, optimizes data-driven pricing models, and automates revenue collection.
Starting with the self-storage industry, SafeLease currently distributes a unique tenant protection solution to facilities around the USA.
Talented and motivated applicants will find a deep opportunity for success in a large but underserved market where 1 in 10 Americans have active storage leases across more than 50,000 self-storage facilities. The current sales team has made very strong traction winning partnership deals and the time has come to grow the team.
What you’ll do:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will own the top of the funnel and generate interest in SafeLease’s embedded tenant insurance solution. Most of your day will be spent researching, identifying, and contacting target customers to set meetings for our sales team.
We are in search of BDRs who are motivated to help SafeLease make our presence known in the market and create memorable experiences with prospects. Ideal candidates are those who are coachable, can work autonomously, and want to be a part of a winning team.
BDRs at SafeLease will work closely with Account Executives to win new partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity to be an early member of a growing sales team and have a big impact from day one. Ambitious and successful BDRs at SafeLease will have career growth opportunities over time.
Who you are:
Strong desire to build a career in sales
Outgoing and comfortable interacting with large amounts of prospects on a daily basis
Above average ability to clearly communicate via phone, email, and chat
Daring and performance driven mindset

Experience:
1+ year of sales experience ideal but not required
Demonstrated track record of success in a working environment
P&C insurance interest and/or experience a plus
