As a Channel Development Manager for Acunetix your primary responsibility will be identifying, developing, and expanding relationships with distributors and resellers. Duties of a channel development manager may include training, mentoring, and motivating channel partners in the LATAM territory; generating additional demand through partner events; studying the market for newer trends and reporting the same to the management; monitoring pricing policies; making sure that channel partners sign proper contracts/agreements; managing channel conflicts; training or mentoring trainee channel development managers; and fostering relationships between channel partners and sales.
The Channel Development Manager is to be a strong influencer and orchestrator to align Acunetix & partner resources for business impact. The importance of the role evidences Acunetix’s deep commitment to the partner ecosystem to build a mutually beneficial business relationship.
Channel Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Identify potential distributors and resellers and enroll them into the Acunetix partner program
- Identify gaps in our distributors and reseller coverage with the LATAM region.
- Develop and leverage executive partner relationships to grow Acunetix across all levels of the partnership
- Generate enthusiasm and passion for Acunetix products among partner sales and engineering teams
- Develop and oversee marketing and incentive programs to drive sales
- Coordinate sales and technical training for partners
- Drive performance management of partners through monthly/quarterly reviews to review overall business performance across the organization and to measure against partners’ transformation goals and business plan
- Guide partners to build a solutions portfolio aligned with market opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Channel Team to support the overall growth of our channel program, development of partner facing collateral and sales tools, tracking and internal communication tools, and marketing programs
Requirements
- Verbal and written fluency in Spanish and English is required
- 4+ years of experience in distributor sales or channel management
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of a Tier-2 channel network
- Able to demonstrate distributor insights of the LATAM region
- Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Desire to build a world class channel program
- Tenacious and aggressive "hunter" mentality
- Strong executive presence and financial acumen
