As an Commercial Account Executive, Growth at Cart.com you will have the opportunity to work closely with our most strategic accounts to expand our footprint. You will be responsible for managing a named book of business, establishing and nurturing relationships, and challenging clients ways of thinking in order to help them achieve their goals. Each client has unique needs and you act as a trusted business advisor, helping them effectively leverage our products and services to maximize their results. The work you’ll do is instrumental to the overarching success of your clients and the Cart.com business. 

Responsibilities

  • Grow the revenue within book of existing accounts (cross sell, upsell, and renewal) with a heavy emphasis on revenue expansion
  • Prioritize your book of business, develop and execute on account plans for each individual account, including identifying new opportunities, bridging use cases across departments, and building and climbing the org chart
  • Source expansion opportunities in new departments, subsidiaries, and business units, while telling a compelling wall to wall (multi-use case) story to relevant executives
  • Meet and exceed your sales targets through strategic prospecting and strong sales process - you will own the full sales-cycle
  • Educate and consult customers on the value of Cart.com throughout the sales and adoption cycle
  • Model a wide range of use cases in which Cart.com can drive business transformation
  • Collaborate and work closely with different members of the Accounts team (Sales Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Implementation Specialist, Leadership, SMEs, etc.) to build strategic adoption plans for customers
  • Regulary report on sales pipeline and forecast to Cart.com leadership

  • Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience regularly overachieving quota selling SaaS and/or marketing solutions within mid-market and/or Enterprise segment
  • Strong account planning with experience selling into various teams and business units
  • Depth of experience successfully navigating across multiple teams (up to C-suite) and expertly managing stakeholders in Procurement and Legal through complex deal structures
  • Thrive partnering with business leaders and executives, developing long term relationships and aligning key stakeholders company-wide at each stage of the sales lifecycle
  • You are scrappy, resourceful and a creative problem solver when discovering the business needs of your customer and understanding how Cart.com plugs into the bigger picture for them

Bonus Points:

· eCommerce background

· Experience working with consumer brands

· SaaS and/or marketing background

· Experience in startup environments

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
