Corporate Development Manager

Location: Austin, TX.
We’re looking for a Corporate Development Manager to join our Corporate Development team in our Austin, TX office. The corporate development team partners closely with product, engineering and business leaders to source, evaluate, execute and integrate acquisition opportunities. This role will support the VP of Corporate Development in facilitating acquisitions and corporate investments. Additionally, this role will also support the broader Corporate Development and Strategy team assisting with the annual strategic planning process and ad hoc strategy projects.
Responsibilities:
• Research real estate technology trends and market landscapes to create acquisition theses
• Engage with internal business leaders to evaluate and develop theses and potential targets
• Develop M&A business proposals that are presented to executive leadership team
• Assist in deal negotiations and due diligence efforts
• Manage cross-functional post-merger integration efforts
• Assist in executing and managing corporate investments
• Assist with M&A board and executive materials
Requirements:
• 5+ years' experience in corporate development, venture capital, private equity, big 4 transaction services or investment banking (prior corporate development with a technology focus experience is a plus)
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field; MBA is a plus
• Rigorous quantitative skills including experience with modeling, analysis and valuation
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal qualities including a positive attitude; desire to learn new things; judgment and discretion in matters of significance
