Customer Success Specialist - Chat Support
Self Financial is looking for a Customer Success Specialist - Chat Support. In this position, you will be supporting Self’s community in reaching their financial and credit goals. You will assist in resolving customer challenges through direct communication via chat. You may be requested to also assist in phone and email. You will work closely with the Customer Success team and leadership to shape Self by providing feedback and developing ideas for improvement. You will work in a highly collaborative yet autonomous environment- where we celebrate our customer's successes and thrive on reaching our own internal goals!

What You Will Do:
- Work with the Customer Success team to ensure top customer satisfaction by handling all administrative assistant, back-office, and clerical needs by resolving issues and finding quick, viable solutions for tasks such as mail processing, check to print, check reconciliation, paper document handling, supply procurement and other tasks as assigned.
- Turn distressed customers/situations into opportunities to delight our customers through exceptional back-office handling and communication skills with a positive attitude
- Deliver results in a timely manner
- Thrive with the support of your teammates in daily/weekly meetings and fun team challenges.
What You Will Bring:
- Enthusiastic and “self-starter” approach. Ability to work with little direction and carry out tasks to completion.
- Comfortable reporting daily on tasks to management.
- Experience solving problems in a customer-facing environment, and providing consistent support
- Brings high energy and interest to customer inquiries and remains calm and respectful
- With a process-driven mindset; you can identify issues of all kinds and offer solid solutions
- Strong written, verbal, and organization skills
- Fast typing skills and ability to multi-task across multiple chat customers at one time (handling up 5 at a time). You will handle on average 125+ chats in a day.
