We are on a mission to make commercial real estate and capital markets more transparent and accessible to all - and are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to create processes and generate insight that helps everyone at the company achieve that goal. The Deal Desk Manager will work closely with partners in Sales, Finance, Legal, and Sales Operations to efficiently close deals that are good for both our customers and Juniper Square. The ideal candidate will have a team player mentality while serving as a key point of contact to Sales for all deal related questions - big and small. They will be asked to manage day-to-day inquiries from Sales related to Salesforce, quote building, deal structuring, approval process, and discount management. A key attribute of this role is the desire to help people achieve their targets and satisfaction in the success of others. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for supporting our global Quote to Order Process.
Reporting to the CFO, this foundational hire will have the opportunity to continue laying the foundation of process, systems and attitude to give great service to the Sales organization and help drive the future success of the company.
What you’ll do- Lead update of existing and creation of new policies, systems and procedures to maximize efficiency of the quote to order process
- Advise Sales on deal structures, quote preparation, obtaining approvals and order processing
- Think strategically when designing deals to propose solutions that fit a customer’s unique needs and maximize revenue
- Work closely with Finance and Legal to ensure all contracts are accurate and compliant with internal policies
- Review all executed contracts and convert sales opportunities to closed/won in Salesforce
- Partner with Accounting to review or address revenue recognition concerns for non-standard deal structures
- Partner with Legal and Finance to document non-standard terms or commitments
- Identify process improvements and formulate creative solutions when needed
- Team player mindset, taking satisfaction from sales representatives closing deals and teams making quota
- Maniacal focus on small and large improvements to give the best tools and experience possible to Sales
- Works well under pressure, with excellent prioritization and timely and transparent communication
- Has an eye for detail, but also an ability to refer back to the big picture
- Values getting stuff done
- 3+ years of Deal Desk experience
- Deep understanding and experience with Salesforce and CPQ
- Working in Austin office hub when we re-open our office
