We are looking for a highly motivated Director of Cloud Alliances to join our Business Development organization. This role is responsible for supporting Elastic’s efforts to scale our rapidly growing cloud partner relationships and is highly strategic to the company’s long-term goals. We are looking for energetic, innovative, and results-oriented leaders here at Elastic. What You Will Do:

• Work with the sales and marketing organizations at our cloud partners and through cloud partner marketplaces to create sales pipeline for Elastic
• Put in place the right business models, cultivate impactful relationships, and lead cross-functional teams in order to accelerate growth with cloud partners
• Work closely with Elastic’s direct sales teams on individual deals requiring collaboration between the Elastic sales team and cloud provider sales teams
• Evangelize the value of the cloud partner relationships internally and to the cloud providers
• Act as a change leader to continuously improve cloud partner impact, especially relating to joint roadmap items

What You Bring Along:

• 10+ years experience in sales and alliance roles, ideally with experience working with Google Cloud, Azure, and/or AWS
• Energetic, smart, self-directed, and passionate sales and alliances professional
• Demonstrated success creating revenue growth by working with the major cloud providers in sell-with initiatives
• Excitement around being an evangelist for Elastic’s cloud partner relationships
• Experience negotiating channel agreements and designing channel programs
• Open to some travel post-COVID
