Director of Sales Development

| Austin

Khoros is seeking a Director, Sales Development to manage a high-performing lead generation team. We are seeking an inspiring, metrics driven, and strategic leader who is passionate about management and excited to groom Khoros' high potential hires.

Job Duties:

  • Direct, lead & motivate SDR's to exceed individual and team goals
  • Compile weekly/monthly team reports, modify as needed
  • Proactively work to improve the cadence and throughput of the assigned sales development resources as we grow Khoros' marketplace presence and success story.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a positive working relationship and maximize the impact and effectiveness of sales development.
  • Work with Marketing and Field Sales to ensure efficient prospect/customer information exchange and hand-off.
  • Conduct weekly forecasts
  • Remove roadblocks to SDR success

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of management experience in Sales, Sales Development or Inside Sales management, preferably in high technology-based products and/or services
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports
  • Expertise in social media and online marketing
  • Proven ability to set and manage customer expectations
  • Proficiency in forecasting and pipeline management with Salesforce.com
  • Ability to operate independently with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Superior presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
